There have been a few commercials to come out lately that have be very effective (to me at least) commercials. The first was when the Razr phone first came out by Cingular, now owned by crappy AT&T and the song used was AC/DC’s Back in Black. The second one for me was, again Cingular’s mother day commercial and song used was The Beta Band’s Square (That video is posted by me here). The new one is for the Lincoln MKS. The song is Major Tom being covered by Cat Power. Enjoy.
Cat Power sounds great here covering Bowie’s Space Oddity… would really like to hear the entire Cat Power version of the song! Anyone know if it has been released?

I’ve been told that Lincoln-Mercury owns the rights to the remake of a ‘Space Oddessey” aka “Major Tom” by Cat Power and that it WILL NOT BE RELEASED! BOO TO YOU MERCURY-LINCOLN!!!
